Call for Presentations

At the Alpine Verification Meeting, there is no formal review process; it is an informal meeting to exchange research ideas, for technology transfer, and for project collaboration. There will be two talks by senior researchers, but most talks will be given by PhD students and post-docs. The selection of the talks for presentation is based on nomination by supervisor. There will be no formal proceedings of the workshop. (We will collect the presentation slides to put them on the web for everybody to share, if the speakers agree.)

The procedure is as follows: If you want to give a talk at AVM, ask your supervisor to nominate you for a talk at AVM (together with a title and an abstract) by e-mail to the organizer and chances are good that you get a slot. Every supervisor can nominate at most one student or post-doc for presentation. The nomination has to be done by the submission deadline below.

The workshop is open for participation to everybody.

Please register via the online registration form. We ask you to pay a contribution to the workshop cost of 55 € (wire transfer), which will cover the lunches, coffee breaks, and the social events. Your registration is confirmed when you receive the receipt of payment from us per e-mail.
